Fabricator / Welder\n\nWe are recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder to work for our client who are located in York.\n\nTHE DUTIES:\n\n * Welding and fabricating components for heavy machinery\n\n * Mig Welding\n\n * General workshop duties\n\n * Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding methods and techniques Inspect welded joints and completed work to ensure quality compliance and structural integrity\n\n * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with all health and safety protocols\n\n * Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals, schedules, and deadlines\n\n * Assist with troubleshooting welding processes, techniques, and equipment issues as required\n\n * Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently\n\nESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:\n\n * Minimum 2 years' experience working within a Welding role\n\n * Excellent attention to detail with a quality-focused approach\n\n * Mechanical knowledge\n\nTHE HOURS:\n\nDays : Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm (12-minute unpaid break 10am & 30 Mins unpaid lunch at 1:30pm).\n\nFriday 6am -2:30pm (12-minute unpaid break at 10am).\n\nTHE PAY:\n\nYou will earn an hourly rate of £16.50-£18\n\nCompensation & Benefits Package\n\n * Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience\n\n * 29 days annual holiday (including bank holidays)\n\n * Company performance bonus scheme\n\n * Company saver/savings scheme\n\n * Contributory pension scheme\n\n * Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided\n\n * On-site parking facilities\n\n * Complimentary hot drinks\n\n * Overtime opportunities during peak production periods\n\n * Early finish on Fridays
